King's room
The Room of the King
is a grand double one situated in the first floor of the building, with
a main balcony facing the Paseo del Moro and magnificent views to the
Sierra. Furnished with 17th and 18th century pieces, standing out are
the Isabeline style armchairs, coming from a visit of Queen Isabella II
to the Sevillian Mayor, Mr. José Morales, great-great-grandfather of the
actual owner. |

Queen's room
The Room of the
Queen is the junior one of the hotel. It communicates with the "King's
Room" so can become a comfortable suite. Of special mention is the 18th
century Altar piece, silver plated and polychromed, as well as 17th and
18th century engravings. |

The Blue Room
features a canopy bed of family tradition, richly dressed with "Toile de
Jovie" original and wrapped with a marvelous collection of Pompeian and
English engravings, as well as various drawings. Very elegant and

A magnificent 18th
century embroidered carpet acts as a headboard tapestry. Hanging from

Frederick Castet
The Furniture and
narrow fireplace frame are of English Art and Crafts, as well as the
textiles designed by William Morris. Through a beautiful 19th century
wrought-iron gate you can access a small but intimate garden. The room
is dedicated to Frederick Castet, who was a great designer of the
Christian Dior firm and friend of the owners. |

The Room of the
Infante is a very romantic one. It is illuminated by two large windows
that open to private garden, with a marble fountain and a sublime
combination of plants. A female portrait signed by Escribano shares the
space with 19th century English and French lithoghraps. |

"Militar"
Room of the Military
Man. An old portrait of a hero in the Battle of "Bailén" (1808) names
this room. It is also decorated by a beautiful collection of 19th
century Japanese Art with lacquered frames. Like the other rooms on the
ground floor, this one also has access to a small private garden. |

Newly-weds
room
The Room of the
Newly-weds is the most spacious one. The headboard comes from a baroque
altar, with mirrors and a frame lacquered in red. A charming corner,
from where the light is scattered into the room, makes it the perfect
space for chatting or reading while laying down on a gorgeous edwardian
ottoman. The atmosphere will invite you to never leave, while you
witness how daylight vanishes smoothly in the evening, entering from an
intimate patio with a whispering fountain. The bathroom is equipped with
a magnificent pair of 19th century twin bathtubs. |
