Villa di Piazzano is situated among the green hills of the Val di Chiana, between Lake Trasimeno and the enchanting Tuscan town of Cortona. It was built by Cardinal Silvio Passerini in the 16th Century as his hunting manor.

Situated in a valley characterized by olive groves, sunflower fields and vineyards, today the Villa has been dedicated to preserving the beauty and authenticity of the original building.

A peculiarity of the Villa is that it is located right on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The closest town is Cortona (5 Km), a medieval town.
