Wine Cellar

The Prieuré's cellar holds more than 10,000 bottles, the oldest of which is an 1892 Coteaux du Layon.

• It includes the leading Loire wines:
Chinon: Charles Joguet, Couly-Dutheil
Saumur Champigny: Clos Rougeard, Les Roches Neuves
Clos de la Coulée de Serrant (one of the 5 best white wines in France according to Curnonsky)
The best sweet and liqueur-like wines: Bonnezeaux, Quart de Chaume, etc.

The most illustrious labels from the greatest wine producing regions are also represented.

A sweet 3 wines tasting from Le Val de Loire with explanations by our wine waiter in its 16th century vaulted cellar.
Duration: 1 hour - Price: 16 € per person

In autumn:
Learn how to cook by yourself with our Chef, Jean-Noël Lumineau!
One saturday per month from 10.30 am
This lunch will be served with a selected wine tasting by a wine producer and our wine waiter.
