Jardin de Carrejo was originally built in 1881 to house a light factory. The building later became the family residence. This initiative is the dream of Rosario and her family, all of whom have all participated in different ways - one son is the architect and interior designer, another is the professional photographer whose work adorns the walls and Isabel oversees the everyday running of the hotel. The house is ideally located to visit the green Cantabria region and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Perfectly restored with exquisite attention to detail, it offers comfort and style in an intimate atmosphere. Each of the rooms and suites of Jardin de Carrejo recreates an avant-garde and fresh style. The rooms are decorated in beige tones and matching linen curtains combined with wooden furniture carved by a local woodworker. Some of the rooms on the first floor have private terraces. The suites have a dining area, a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, and one features a large terrace with splendid views. There is a dining room where breakfast and light evening meals may be taken (cold delicatessen food, sandwiches, salads etc.) and a lounge with a fireplace and a library.
