Le Prieuré was built as an archbishop’s palace in 1322 and became a priory in 1333 - now it’s a charming hotel at the heart of this inviting medieval village. Ivy clings to its warm stone exterior, green shutters dress its windows, and sun-baked tiles adorn the roof. The hotel has expanded and changed over the years and now has 26 rooms and 10 suites, many of which have lovely terraces, housed in a modern annex. The annex, which might at first disappoint as it doesn’t boast the character of old, does enjoy all the welcome, modern comforts. Air conditioning has been incorporated throughout - an appreciated luxury in the hot Provençal summers.
