Sport activities

With the Mediterranean on one side and the Alps on the other, Nice and its region are an incredibly nice place to play! It`s like magic: you can skiing 2000 meters above sea level, and less than an hour later find yourself on the beaches of the Riviera! The countryside around Nice is also superb for hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking, and offers many opportunities for canyoning and rafting. Last but not least, the Riviera has one of the highest concentrations of golf courses in Europe: almost twenty different sites from which to choose!

Cultural activities

The Nice region has been home to some of the greatest painters of our time (Marc Chagall, Raoul Dufy, Henri Matisse, etc.) and was the birthplace of the famous “Ecole de Nice” (César, Arman, Ben, Sosno, etc.). Home also to world-renowned events such as the Carnival of Nice and the Nice Jazz Festival, the city is now one of Europe`s most popular cultural destinations. This love of art can be seen everywhere: in the city`s many famous art galleries, museums, opera and even in the Phoenix Floral Park, which has the largest greenhouse in all of Europe.
