Burgos is well connected to its neighbors by a network of Motorways, but its routes to and from Barcelona are especially wide and modern. The road from Barcelona changes its name several times, from the A2 to the A68 to the E4, but it is a Motorway all the way.
From Madrid:
Follow the N-I North for about 90 minutes; the Motorway is fast but less modern than the road from Barcelona.
