Golf Platja de Pals

This is one of the courses which, together with Golf Serres de Pals, forms part of the Costa Golf & Beach Resort **** where guests can enjoy the preferential option of a 50% discount in their 18 hole green fees.
With direct access from the hotel gardens, this course is considered to be one of the most prestigious golf courses in Spain. The course was inaugurated in 1966, and is the oldest on the Costa Brava; it has a typically English design, and a round of par 73.
Its design demands a precise game as its fairways are lined by pine trees some 100 years old.
The clubhouse, with a notable English atmosphere, and with its own special charm, lends this course a final touch for first-class day of golf.

Golf Serres de Pals

This is one of the courses which, together with Golf Platja de Pals, forms part of the Costa Golf & Beach Resort **** where our clients can enjoy the preferential option of a 50% discount in their 18 hole green fees.
Only 10 minutes away from the hotel, the course was inaugurated in the year 2000, and was created with the idea of offering a first class service for golfers from around the world.
The course itself comprises 3 different areas, with gentle ridges, pine woods and paths between lakes. Its clubhouse has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and is located next to Mas Gelabert, an ancient 17th century stone-built country house.
Finally, the course also has an International Golf School, with facilities for teaching techniques for both beginners and for experienced players. The school offers courses, group and individual classes.

As well as the hotel's own two courses, "Golf Platja de Pals and Golf Serres de Pals", the Costa Brava has 7 other top quality golf courses available, making the Empordà area one of the most reputable golf destinations in Spain, all thanks to the area's quality services and facilities.
The Empordà Golf Club, Golf d'Aro, Club de Golf Costa Brava, PGA Golf de Catalunya, Golf Girona, Club de Golf Peralada, Torremirona Golf Club and widening the facilities available, Golf P&P Gualta, to improve your short game, all within a radius of 10 to 40 minutes from the hotel.
The hotel has its own experienced golf department which is responsible for the tee-times in those 10 courses with special prices available, green fees can be paid for at hotel reception for your own convenience.

Sea Sports

Close to the hotel on Pals beach, there is a nautical club with equipment for windsurfing, sailing in catamaran, kayaking and trips on a "banana ski" (skibus) all arrangements can be made through the hotel.
The close proximity of the Marine Reserve of the Medes Islands, the cliffs of the Montgrí Massif and the Begur coastline make this area one of the most popular in the Mediterranean for the practice of scuba diving. But if you want to make your first contact with the undersea world, there are numerous professional centres where you can try out diving for the first time or snorkeling.
We offer the opportunity to sail or cruise on boats with their own captain, and with picnic included, if desired. Discovering this coastline of coves and crystal clear waters from the sea is the best way of getting to know The Costa Brava.
