Hotel La Bienvenida stands on the corner of the main town square. Its thick whitewashed walls erected in the early XVIIth century, together with its large rooms, speak of its agricultural past. Inside the hotel you get the impression of being in a country house. Its interior is decorated by both traditional domestic pieces, as well as fine examples of contemporary Spanish and Portuguese art by such artists as Alcaraz and Diego Canogar. The overall effect evoques the paintings of Zurbaran, a master painter and native of this region.

The house has three reception areas: "El Cortinal", newly constructed with larger groups in mind; a second longer one, originally the stables, now renovated; and finally the original domed sitting rooms which look onto the main square. The hotel has nine bedrooms, all with fireplaces. The garden, with a large swimming pool, is surrounded by oak and fig trees all native to the region. From the garden you can contemplate the beautiful Arabic-style architecture of the church tower in the main square. Upon request, the hotel organizes diverse activities, such as clay-pidgeon shooting, outdoor feasts, horseback riding, etc.

For those wanting to explore the surrounding area, sites of interest include the Jayona mine, and the unique villages of Llerena, Montemolmn, Zafra, Jerez de los Caballeros, Segura de Lesn, Calera de Lesn, etc.
