Hotel Conquistador is the hotel with the best location, right in front of the Mesquita, the main reason to visit Cordoba. The hotel is a typical city hotel with ninety eight rooms including three junior suites and not counting some small single rooms which they do not even offer. The standard double rooms are not the largest to be found, but they are well equipped and very nicely decorated.

There are two room location options in Hotel Conquistador, one is facing the front street looking out to the Mesquita (these rooms are hotter and noisier) and the other is facing a nice inner courtyard with a fountain, which is by the way, an excellent place to sit down and chat or read a book... They have also three junior suites, two with twin beds and one with full bed. These suites are the best bargain, because for not much more than the price of a standard double room, you get almost twice the space. A significant convenience of the Hotel Conquistador is its private underneath garage, from which you can take the elevator directly up to your room’s floor. They have a three star sister property just a block away. Both properties are usually full during Easter.
