2 kilometres south, the Notre-Dame-de-Lavasina basilica is a pilgrimage place which is highly frequented by Corsican Christians every 8 th of September.

Must see: in the valley above Erbalunga the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges chapel, built in the Middle Ages, with beautiful dated frescos.

Strolls: Visit of the village, Genoese tower bombed by the Royale cannons little before the Revolution, marina, houses of notables… nice pictures guaranteed! On the heights, abandoned hamlets such as Petre Scritte (Written Stones), the ruins of the lord Gentile castle, or the villages on the little frequented panoramic road, some inns and pizzerias where you'll be welcomed unpretentiously.
