From Land:
Exit the Motorway at Rosignano Maritimo and follow the signs to Piombino to take the ferry to Isola dŽElba. It is approximately a one hour trip. The ferry ticket is quite inexpensive at the port. Only in very high season is advisable to buy the ticket at a travel agency in whichever city you are before coming to Elba. You will arrive at Portoferraio in the island, look for the Viale (Main Road) and follow directions to Procchio. Before Prochio you will see the indications for La Biodola and also for the hotel.
