Hosteria Ayala Berganza is situated in Segovia, next to the Romanesque church of San Millan, and only a few minutes from the famous Aqueduct. The Ayala Berganza is full of history. Part of this hotel was a small Castilan palace, dating from the 15th Century, and declared a Historic Artistic Monument. It has been added to and renovated and is now the setting of the Hosteria Ayala Berganza.
Each of the 16 Rooms and 2 Suites is uniquely decorated. The hotel is just outside the ramparts of the centre of Segovia (which makes parking much less of a problem) and it takes only five minutes to walk to the heart of town and the cathedral.
Though not located in the very centre of Segovia, it is nevertheless only some 300 Mts. from the renowned aqueduct, and the heart of town is only a stone’s throw away. Getting to visit some of Segovia’s unique monuments such as the Alcazar, Plaza Mayor and Carmelite Monastery is therefore easy. In a stone-columned central patio, an excellent Castilian cuisine based on seasonal dishes and roasted meats from a wood-fired oven are served.
