Chateau des Reaux is a privately owned historic monument considered one of the jewels in the “Valley of the Kings” and one of Touraine's most outstanding XVth Century Chateau. It was built in the XVth Century, right in the heart of the Loire valley, 4 Km from Bourgueil.

The Chateau stands out by a lodge flanked by two towers decorated with a subtle chessboard effect in brick and stone. Today, its present owners, Jean-Luc and Florence de Bouille offer their guest a warm, friendly welcome in a variety of rooms scattered throughout different levels, each one different from the other. All room furnishings are ancient, some of them may be not so appealing, but real, they are... Aside from the beauty of the chateau from the outside and the warm welcome of its lady owner, the Chateau des Reaux is in a location perfect to visit the Loire Valley. A lot of interesting places are less than an hour from here.
