Chateau des Alpilles dates from the early 19th century, it was built by one of the oldest Provençal families. In those days many rendezvous of politicians and famous writers took place in this chateau.

Today the Chateau des Alpilles is a four star hotel run more like a private Chateau. It is managed by its two owners, Francoise and Catherine Bon. The Chateau has fifteen rooms in the main building and two outer buildings with apartments and suites. The rooms in the main building were decorated using beautiful Souleiado fabrics in curtains, wall coverings and bedspreads, which contributes to give every room a lot of color while at the same time maintaining a standard of high elegance. All rooms are very nicely furnished and very comfortable.

The Chateau des Alpilles is the perfect combination of a private chateau feeling, with the comfort of a high class hotel. The apartments and suites in the outer buildings follow more of a contemporary pattern in their style of decoration, to cater for families.
