• Brive-la-Gaillarde: Celtic origin (Briva Curretia or bridge on Corrèze) with a nickname of la Gaillarde cause of her courage while fighting during many states of siege.
Collegiate church Saint Martin built on the 11th century and redone on the 14th century.
Archaeological crypt built on last remnants of a 5th century building which was also built on the grave of Saint Martin the Spanish. Labenche Hotel, Renaissance nice building, actual museum.

• Jugeals Nazareth: ex stop-over for important pilgrimages and hospital for leprous.
• Turenne: large viscounty in the 15th century with a third of Limousin region under his power. It is the original home of the Tour d`Auvergne family famous with the name Turenne Duc de Bouillon. One of his sons, Henri, became the grand Turenne.
Castle still present with the Tour César, tower from 11th century and the Tour de l`Horloge, dungeon of 13th century.
The Viscounty of Turennes enjoyed perfect autonomy from the Middle-Ages to Louis XV. Very nice old houses in amphitheatre way around the castle.
• Collonges-la-Rouge: Medieval village of red sandstone. Church with a Roman bell-tower and its tympanum in chalky stones. Collonges-la-Rouge obtained in the 13th century franchise and freedom from the Viscounty of Turenne. In the 16th century, Collonges-la-Rouge became a privilege place for high ranking officials of the Viscounty. Numerous and nice castles : Vassinhac, Benge, Friac...
