From Naples: Please note that Naples has two ports where you can get a boat to Capri: Molo Beverello, (both Traghetto and Aliscafo) and Mergellina (Aliscafo only). Aliscafo is much faster (40 minutes trip). At Molo Beverello you can take both a traghetto (normal ferry, 60 minutes trip to Capri) and an Aliscafo (fast boat, 40 minutes trip). At the port of Mergellina the Aliscafo are frequent (about one per hour), no ferry at all. To reach the small village of Anacapri from Capri port, Marina Grande, you can get a taxi (10 minutes ride - cost around € 18 from the port Marina Grande and € 10 from the village of Capri, located on the top of the island). Public transports are also available: in Marina Grande take the Funicular to Capri village and, from there, a bus to Anacapri (both funicular and bus tickets cost € 1). From Marina Grande you can also take a direct bus to Anacapri, but it is not frequent at all.
